PrevTool — for Gofile™ is a lightweight extension and web helper that lets you preview & download Gofile links instantly. It’s designed for people who open many Gofile links every day and want to see what’s inside before downloading.
What it does
- Instant preview for images, videos, audio & archives.
- See file tree, file size and type at a glance.
- Direct download link when available.
- Optional thumbnails (Premium) and link highlighting (good / protected / dead).
- Bulk mode (Premium) to analyze many links in one go.
Why it exists
Handling Gofile links is common, but opening new tabs blindly is slow and risky. PrevTool removes friction: hover, inspect, and download only what you need.
Who is it for
Power users who regularly share or review large files: creatives, indie devs, collaborators, community managers, and anyone navigating lots of Gofile links.
Pricing at a glance
- Free - 10 previews/day, hover previews, file tree/size/type, direct download, thumbnails disabled, no sign-in required.
- Premium – Unlimited previews (Fair Use), faster preview, thumbnails on preview, link highlighting without hover, bulk mode, priority support, sign-in required.
- Monthly plan is cancelable anytime. Yearly plan is cheaper than monthly.
- Note: features, quotas, and pricing may evolve over time. The current limits shown in the extension/account page are the reference.
Roadmap & status
This is an MVP that will evolve based on real-world feedback. Expect frequent updates, occasional limitations, and rapid iterations focused on speed and clarity.
Independence & fair use
PrevTool is independent and not affiliated with Gofile. Please use the Service in line with applicable laws and Gofile’s terms. We do not host, copy, or distribute file contents. We only fetch the metadata needed to display previews, and downloads are served by the file host.
